Starting out in the music business as a promoter’s assistant at the Juke Joint in Springfield, MO during the Fall of 1999 and transferring to the Phoenix, AZ market in 2002 to pursue a career in live music and venue management, MATTX has been a venue manager, promoter, talent buyer, street team coordinator and digital marketer for a handful of venues, as well as for his own stand alone events.
He had the opportunity to Stage Manage / Instrument Tech a nationwide tour for Phunk Junkeez as well as another nationwide tour with Buzzcocks, including 14 dates opening for Pearl Jam in venues like the Molson Centre (Montreal) and Madison Square Garden (NYC).
Over that time, he kept an eye out for rare and exciting talent and has managed some very intriguing artists, using his hands on experience in the music business to help up and coming acts.
His focus is now Artist Management and Online Presence Development for Musicians & Artists with an emphasis on fanbase creation and content engagement.
